To help pinpoint the source of a repetitive image defect, please refer to these rulers: For the CP4025/CP4525/CM4540 Printer: - If the defect occurs every 27mm, 32mm, 48mm or 76mm, one of the four toner cartridges may be causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 44mm or 63mm, the transfer kit is causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 76mm or 80mm, the fuser may be causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 51mm, the secondary transfer roller is causing it.
For the CP3525/CM3530 Printer: - If the defect occurs every 27mm, 32mm or 49mm, one of the four toner cartridges is causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 44mm, 63mm or 76mm, the transfer kit is causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 77mm or 78mm, the fuser is causing it.
- If the defect occurs every 50mm, the secondary transfer roller is causing it.
